Helmet Heroes is an online role-playing game with a very similar gameplay to World of Warcraft, although it's played from a first-person perspective. The game also borrows many elements from the excellent survival horror game Dead by Daylight, including its asymmetric gameplay and the way it challenges you to face other players as well as the vast majority of the game's creatures. As in any MMORPG, in Helmet Heroes you can create a character by choosing between among more than ten different classes: mage, thief, berserker, assassin, etc. Also, as you level up your character, you can further customize its appearance by collecting and combining more than thirty different pieces of armor and other cosmetic elements.
Helmet Heroes' combat system is also very similar to World of Warcraft's. Each character has three action buttons: basic attacks (using your weapon), special abilities (using magic) and utility (using other skills). You can also equip abilities that modify your basic attacks or improve your tanking capabilities.
Lastly, you can summon pets to help you fight. The main difference between Helmet Heroes and other MMORPGs is that this one is really well-adapted to touchscreen devices. Thanks to this feature, you can play with just one hand and easily move around each area while using all the skills and equipment you've acquired during your adventures.
Helmet Heroes is a fun MMORPG with a ton of variety and originality. Its graphics aren't perfect but they're not far off either. All things considered, this title offers a very entertaining experience that's similar to what you can find in games like World of Warcraft or Guild Wars 2 for PC.
